Elder Clock Dance

Warming up our bodies, swinging our torso side to side, I asked the group of elders at Martin Luther Care Center, “What does this movement remind you of?” Florence answered immediately, “A pendulum.”

We then proceeded to discover all the various parts of our body that we could isolate and swing in a pendulum-like way. Carla put on some ticktock Grandfather clock music and off we went, sailing into our choreography, an original clock dance!

  1. Hey,

Is this a case of Kairos working with Kronos~?

    I think so.

I think these two Greek words for two different qualities of time have more to say to each other~!
